Have you used the NHS app?
Did you know there is a Digital Café at Wokingham Library where you can get help with the NHS App? For many, the NHS app can feel out of reach, especially if you do not have access to a smartphone or computer. But if you do have a device and just need a little help getting started, the New Wokingham Road Surgery and Patient Participation Group (PPG) are here to support you. We are proud to have an NHS App Champion who volunteers at the Digital Café, run in partnership with Marta Fischer of NHS BOB ICB and Wokingham Borough Council.
The café is held at Wokingham Library on the 4th Monday of each month from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM.

What we offer:
Help setting up the NHS app
• Support accessing your medical records through the App
• Guidance on viewing hospital records from Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals, Frimley Park Hospital and The Royal Berkshire Hospital.
If you can’t make it to the Wokingham Library on the 4th Monday, we’re happy to arrange a one-to one session on another Monday at 3:30 PM to suit your schedule.
Transport issues?
We understand that getting to Wokingham Library isn’t always easy. That’s why we’re exploring additional support options in the Crowthorne and Sandhurst areas – possibly at Crowthorne or Sandhurst Library.
We believe digital health tools should be accessible to everyone. But we also know that not everyone has the same access or confidence with technology. That’s why it’s so important to offer extra support to those who need it most – so no one gets left behind.
