Provider's Nominated Individual: Dr Edmond Chau


Provider's Information Governance Lead: Susan Vickers

The lead is responsible for planning, implementation, monitoring and review of Information Governance policy, procedures and processes throughout the organisation.


Provider's Caldicott Guardian: Susan Vickers

The Caldicott Guardian is a senior person responsible for protecting the confidentiality of patient and service-user  and enabling appropriate information sharing.


Provider's Senior Information Risk Owner: Dr Edmond Chau

The SIRO role is proposed for a Board member or relevant equivalent, who is concerned with identifying and managing the information risks to the organisation and with its business partners.


Provider's Accountable Emergency Officer: Dr Edmond Chau

The purpose of the accountable emergency officer role is for the person to assume responsibility and leadership at service level for Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR). Therefore, they are the person who is responsible for planning for and responding to significant incidents and emergencies.


Provider's Safeguarding Lead: Dr Edmond Chau

Named professionals have a key role in prompting good professional practice within their organisation, supporting the local safeguarding system and processes, providing advice and expertise for fellow professionals and ensuring safeguarding training is in place.


Provider's Mental Capacity and Deprivation of Liberty Lead: Dr David Evans

The provider must appoint and maintain a Mental Capacity and Deprivation of Liberty Lead.  This role can be either undertaken by the Practice Manager or a nominated GP.


Provider's Prevent Lead: Susan Vickers

The provider must appoint and maintain a Prevent Lead.  This role can either be undertaken by the Practice Manager or a nominated GP.


Publication of GP Net Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (eg average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working for six months or more in The New Wokingham Road Surgery in the last financial year was £66882 before Tax and National insurance.  This is for 1 full time and 3 part time GPs.
